Description: People to serve as Volunteer Advocates for Children to work with Guardians ad Litem to represent children in the dependency court in Orange County. The Transitions Program needs adults to help 17- to 19-year-olds move from foster care to adulthood. Volunteers assist by maintaining contact with the child, obtaining records and conducting home visits. Volunteers who speak Spanish or Creole are needed, as well as individuals willing to commute to neighboring counties.
